Forestry Operations

Our seedling nursery, in Eunápolis, has the capacity for the annual production of 23 million eucalyptus seedlings, as well as 350,000 native species seedlings. In 2004, we produced 17 million eucalyptus clonal seedlings and 250,000 seedlings of 134 different native species.

Thanks to the rationalization of use and optimization of the use of sprinklers, we were able to reduce the consumption of water in the nursery in 2004 (about 119,000 m³) by 50%, compared to the previous year.
