In our industrial unit we use a modern activated mud system for the treatment of effluents. After going through a primary clarifier, the effluent is chilled and subsequently passed through an aeration system, where bacteria biologically consume the organic material. Next, the resulting mud is removed from the secondary clarifiers and, at that point, the treated effluent is ready to be returned to the river.
