Future technicians initiate training at the mill - 08.05.04
The first group of 60 students enrolled in the pulp technicians course offered by Veracel of to residents of the company’s area of influence have entered a new phase of the qualifying process. After concluding a three-month trainee period at the Aracruz pulp mill in Espírito Santo, they began specific training aimed at giving them the skills to start up the new mill. During this stage, the students will learn to recognize the components of the different pieces of equipment and to identify eventual operating defects. In the future, this training well make it possible for them to “dominate” the operation and the equipment maintenance when the mill it is producing pulp, including understanding about personal and environmental safety.
