Our key actions are the management and leadership processes aiming to foster a culture of giving and receiving feedback at all levels. We emphasize the agile adaptation of the various activities due to the required social distancing. It was focused on internal dialogue by our better qualified managers to share strategic themes with the teams and the continuous support for employees seeking the balance between physical and emotional health using a emotional care channel  for our employees’ families as well.

The culture of humanizing and valuing employees is part of our way of being, always aligned with our purpose of being responsible, inspiring people and valuing life!

“People move companies into the future, so there is nothing more valuable for a company than being valued by its teams and feeling that the corporate culture provides a respectful and motivating environment for its teams’ performance,” highlighted Caio Zanardo, CEO at Veracel.

Our purpose of being responsible, inspiring people and valuing life can only be experienced and practiced if there is dialogue, transparency and respect. Knowing that there are differences and each individual is unique is the first step in establishing a respectful relationship. That is why we have an initiative called “Empresa + Inclusiva”, whose mission is promoting diversity and inclusion in our company and making way for everyone to be who they really are, feeling comfortable and safe.

The initiative’s 26 members are volunteers and work so that the pillars of equality of gender, race and ethnicity, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ people and future generations are increasingly understood, known and respected inside and outside Veracel, always counting on the support of all in the company.

Our Code of Conduct, which is also shared with our suppliers, formalizes our ethical culture and highlights our position of not admitting discriminatory practices based on gender, race and ethnicity, disability, generation, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, socioeconomic status, marital status, political thinking or any personal features.

We are committed to respecting diversity and valuing differences in all our management processes, relationships and spaces in our organization.
